What if UFC had heightclasses instead of weightclasses?
>>197418But what about manlets?
>>197419Well not for nothing but why do they think they have a right to be professionals in a sport if they're not athletically gifted enoughOther sports don't have a professional manlet divisionIf you want to play basketball or football or some shit, be a big person or get so good that you can be 5'6" and still keep upSports fans want to see the best of the best, not the jr.s
>>197419If manlets can become top division mainstays in sumo, they can manage in any other sport. Go and tell Midorifuji he shouldn't be allowed to fight the big boys.
Height and reach are a huge factor when it comes to striking, being shorter allows for better grappling. But yeah, Suga Sean is basically on PED's being that fucking tall in his weight class. Nobody can get close.
>>197423I get your point but I wouldn't want to miss out on Demetrious or Cejudo

~~Crack edition~~>Where do I start?People typically start in the gym and branch off outdoors and find their niche, be it bouldering, trad, sport or a mixture of the above. Some never leave the gym at all. Ultimately it doesn't matter - just get started and enjoy yourself.>How fit do I have to be to start? Do I have to be able to do x amount of pull-ups?Being light, strong and flexible helps at the higher levels but climbing is open to almost anyone and is fairly intuitive to most. Even if your body is feeble and weak now, you will develop strength over time by virtue of just climbing. Climbing is a holistic sport and success often hinges upon many factors, not just strength and power, but having these qualities definitely helps when you breach into the higher grades.>What shoes do I buy?If you're starting out in the gym, don't worry too much: get some snug shoes without dead space that don't cause you lasting pain. Some people (such as the famed shoe designer Heinz Mariacher) recommend wearing soft shoes when you're starting out -- this makes sense since your footwork will probably suck and the increased feedback will pay dividends over time. You really don't need fancy expensive shoes when you're starting out, but certain shoe properties help send harder problems (e.g. stiff shoes for standing on tiny granite edges or soft shoes for sandstone/gritstone smears). Here are some useful resources for sizing:>https://sizesquirrel.com/>https://rockrun.com/blogs/the-flash-rock-run-blog/rock-climbing-shoe-sizing-guideComment too long. >>197147>Foliage Run heavier bbs, the rest of it is skill issue cope
>>197147Upgrade your gun to make it more accurate Run nothing lower than .32sWork on positioning yourself better If you can't do that, then you should get a NGRS gun to cope. Preferably the M4 or 416 so you can use the 120rd PTS mags.
What hop-up buckings are you guys who run .32g BBs in your AEGs using? I experimented with some of these recently and liked them, much more predictable than .25gs. I've heard some people recommending Maple Leaf MR and Macaron.
>>197335Super macaron 60 with omega nub. Just don’t get the silicone versions. They are way too sticky so BBs get stuck

Is Judo the best single martial art in terms of self defense? When it comes to street fights, almost everyone can agree that being on the ground is bad considering the possibility of things like glass being on the ground and someone else coming up and kicking you in the head. Therefore wouldn't the best martial art for street fights be one where the whole goal is to slam your opponent into the ground without falling yourself? Especially because while a person would expect punches and kicks from their opponent, something like a hip throw would likely catch them by surprise

>>197149damn calling herself a shemale?I bet she had odd taste in porn.
>>196220>entire identity tied to winning thanks to her mom>probably has undiagnosed mental illnessHere's what Rhadi Ferguson said about her:>When you hear Ronda Rousey talk about beating Cain Velasquez and all that stuff and lining up against heavyweights, understand that I'm telling you that I don't believe it can happen. But in her mind, she believes that s---. That's not any marketing. She believes it. I believe that all elite athletes or everybody who exists at the right of the bell curve in some form or capacity in terms of expertise, they're a little bit off in some form or fashion. Ronda Rousey is that good because she does not believe that anybody is ever supposed to beat her.>I remember after the Olympics Ronda's mom called me because Ronda was coming in town in Florida and she had a tournament down there. She wanted her to stay by my home and take her to the weigh ins and take her to the tournament, etc. We had a training session where we were rolling around on the mat with just newaza. I was a black belt at the time in jiu-jitsu. Ronda began to cry. I said, 'What are you crying about? ' She said, 'I can't do anything.' I said, 'Ronda, I'm 100kg male.' She said, 'Yeah, but I don't feel like you're supposed to beat me.'>I had known her for a while, but it got to the point where I got a little upset because I was like, 'Well, hell, what is she saying about me? Is she disrespecting me and my expertise?' And no, she's not. She does not believe that she's supposed to lose.

Don't like it. All they do is shell up and brute forward until gloves touch then start banging and counter. Not fun to watch. There's a reason tenshin exploited them all

>>194377I would argue it's more similar to chess in the sense that yeah it's not physically demanding, but it's more about the mental aspect and needing a solid clarity to not fuck up and even once or you die
>>194459Mental clarity and having a dysfunctional amygdala are two separate things.Rooftopping is largely safe if you take standard routes, pretty much anyone can do rooftopping regardless of fitness. The pic you've shown pretty much has them climbing a ladder, they're just high up.The real kings of extreme sports are free soloing and wingsuiting which have high mortality rates and require a high level of physical and mental ability. The majority of people will never wingsuit or free solo in their life. Whereas people are rooftopping every day, for work. This does not make it extreme.

Feels so crazy that they're actually bringing back zorbing at the Olympics, it's been so long. Did anybody honestly think they'd do it?

>>194303>Well and here I am trying to convince my French friend why Savate is the most autistic combat sport, I mean none of them can kick properly and you have to chamber your kicks in an exaggerated way according to the rules...you're an idiota savate guy beat ramon dekkers and ernesto hoost always said he loved savate and it helped him coming up with his own style
>>196883That's quite a kick. How's the savate scene in the US?
>>196884non existenteven in france it's in total decline, it was really at its best in the 80s and 90s, lots of legendary fights between french savate fighters, the pioneers of dutch kickboxing and american full contact karatekas
>>196885>even in france it's in total declineVery sad. Many such cases.
The most autistic combat SPORT. If he did that kick in savate he would get a warning from the ref.
