Some time ago I got a KZ ZS10 Pro, probably saw it listed in one of these. It was 2021 or early 2022. At first there was glue seeping out from its seams, and I just wiped it with a tissue every time. They still work fine, and I just got a replacement cable after the default ones broke. I see now that the plastic body on the right earbud has a fracture on it.

I probably won't be replacing these anytime soon as they still work fine and I like to keep my things for years. In the event that these somehow break down, are the new budget ones any more decent than the KZ ZS10 Pro's or should I aim higher for both sound and build quality? I have the money to buy new ones, but I want to save myself the hassle and go with something that'll last even longer than these.

oh I missed that part, the ALC5686 supports 2-channel microphone. that's a deal breaker to some. CX only has single channel for mic.
>>
>>103266451
another thing I think the part which makes people prefer CX is that it sounds "like how we used to listen to music" which is with poorly shielded DAC/audio sources that would have a natural "crossfeed" like an old dumbphone or portable mp3 device or a native audio of a computer.
maybe that was part of the design... so yeah that could be a selling point to some, but to those who prefer pristine audio reproduction maybe not.

Is it possible an mmorgp game causes an ssd to die due to it being terribly optimized and doing millions of disk operations. Or was it just a coincidence and the ssd was about to die anyway?
+3 replies omitted. Click here to view.Showing all replies.
>>
>>103264907
Depends on the mmo but yeah it's pretty common for them to be heavy on disk io, especially if there's a lot of different content. Think about WoW, it's not possible to just slam every texture for gear into memory on startup, it has to constantly load that from disk into memory and then unload it, every time a new player appears you're looking at a texture for each piece of gear they have equipped, so in any kind of busy area where people are moving to and fro the render limit you're going to be doing a lot of reads.
>>
>>103265209
And I guess since this particular game is also playable on mobile it's specially worse since it takes into account lower ram capacity. I'd prefer if there was an option to tell games to load to ram as much as possible to reduce disk i/o.
>>
>>103265303
Mobiles use simliar storage tech to SSD. If it'd kill your SSD, it'd be killing folks phones too...
>>
>>103266253
True but people change their phone like every 2 years anyway. Desktop users might have the same ssd for a decade...
>>
>>103266371
A selection do. This isn't true of the entire marketspace. It's only a small % that are dumb enough to get a new phone every couple of years for no major enhancement of functionality.

Even the enforced upgrade by dropping support doesn't encourage quite a significant chunk to change something that already works.

Why do i have this problem wtf is wrong with me i spent a year learning python and just forget code and am constantly looking shit up over and over again.

Is this normal? What do i do?
>>
it's a language, so you really want to understand the idea, and just be comfortable enough with using the language in general that when you want to write down some algorithm, you're comfortable expressing what you think in some computer language, just like you would do with any other language
e.g. you don't commit individual phrases to memory in any other language, except for certain stock phrases like "hello" and "thank you" but you just get comfortable with the language in general, so that you can express the basic idea without a fuss
>>
Use chatgpt. No need to retain anything as long as you can understand the code itself. Just like formulas and maths

The whole point of a DSL like that is to constrain things to make them easier to read by someone not on the team. If you're not going to do that you might as well write a python library instead so at least you have a decent language to drive it.

Long shot, but anyone know if you can use array indexing in Hibernate without using a native query? I know there's support for json properties like
select * from users where users.data.id = 1
where your column is like
{data: {id: 1}}

Is there an equivalent of that for arrays, like
where users[0].data.id
when the column is like
[{data: ...}, ...]
?

I don't care about modern women. They're retarded children that don't age. Miss me with that shit.
>>
>>103264118 (OP)
It's women that approach me most of the time, there is no need for me to do anything. So i would answer the same i guess.
>>
>>103264649
The amazing thing is that people will deny this is true and say that it's still perfectly acceptable to just walk up to women and ask them out but if you ask them front-on if that's acceptable they will ummm and ahhh and say to "read the room." " if you can't tell when someone is interested or not then that's on you you've got a lot of growing up to do"
The fact is none of these people actually know what they are talking about and they just start repeating canned phrases they read on the internet or they heard on a television show.

They can't actually give us specific example of what they're talking about.
In reality there is no situation where it is acceptable for a man to ask out a woman in real life outside of an organized dating event there is a way you're supposed to do it by filling in note cards so there's no chance of confrontation.

I will ask these people flat out to give me a scenario where it acceptable for a man to ask woman on a date and they will not be able to and will act smug as if they've won an argument. Accusing me of being all sorts of horrible nasty words. The first few times this happened I was pretty shocked but then I realized what they were doing and I just started confronting that and asking them again "so you can't name a single scenario where it would be acceptable for a man to ask a woman out? It's really obvious that you don't know what you're talking about at all, insulting me isn't an argument."

Not allowing them to do this really does shut them down and they just start acting incredulous like I've said the most absurd thing possible

They will try and bring it up with other people and convince people that I've said something crazy and weird and when people mention this to me I'll tell them that this guy thinks that you it's okay to just walk up to random women outside and ask them on dates,

I'd rather have a 5950x because then I wouldn't need to buy a new mobo, cooler, and RAM. Right now I don't even see the point in upgrading my 3700x. I have 80GiB of DDR4 RAM just because why not. If the CPU somehow dies before my mobo then I might upgrade to 5950x, assuming that by then I will find any in eBay.
